Healing Pendant

I mentioned in my previous post about the Yellow Amphora that I worked on two similar pendants both in the shape of an amphora. Here is the second one. The picture is not high quality, unfortunately just as I didn't have time these days to be busy with jewelry, I also didn't have time to learn photography and editing (one of the things I will include in my New Year's resolution), but the pendant is really great.

I used a quartz crystal in the middle - also called a healing point, or a crystal point. I love these crystal points as they promote healing and channel the positive energy to the wearer. I have actually a large crystal on my work desk in my office.

Quick Silver Earrings

I made these two pairs of silver earrings during the last few evenings after work. They were fun and easy to make. The orange pair uses two lampwork beads that I bought from a UK lampworker two years ago and never got to do anything with them. The second pair uses two crystal quartz briolettes and two pink jade beads that have truly a beautiful color. Hope you like them :)

Where was it??

So did you get any?? SNOW I mean! We had nothing , well nothing is slightly wrong as although we didn't really get snow we did get every other weather condition the UK can throw at us! Rain, wind, hail, sleet, sun, cloud, more hail, more sleet, and so it went on. My poor dd was waiting all day for the snow she thought we had been told we were getting!! Luckily lunch out with Mamma and Gump saved me from a few hours of moaning! We had lunch in a pub by the sea - watching the waves and headland across the bay was amazing - sadly I had no camera so no pics to show.

If you have any snow pics on your blogs please let me know - I can at least show Elli, luckily she enjoys seeing pics as well as enjoying the real thing!
Today I made some chains ready for my gemstone order which I hope will arrive Tuesday of this week, I'm also hoping for a artisan glass charm bracelet - again if my supplies turn up. In fact I have quite a few pieces waiting for supplies so there will be lots to show in the next couple of days - and this time I promise *cough {without fingers crossed} to try and post every other day at least. I have an excuse though - you are all keeping me way to busy creating and my blogging is going to pot!
Speak tomorrow ;0)

As Simple As

Sometimes I need to make something and before I know it something else has been created! Today was one of those days, I was making a bracelet when I came up my stairs to my sanctuary (to me its my sanctuary - to my family, its a messy room filled with beads, tools, and wire lol!) but when I got in here I made up a pair of earrings (see below) and somehow started on this necklace!

I love Black Onyx and Crystal Quart together - its just a very simple, yet classy, combination. Today I sold another classic necklace from my website and I suppose without thinking I decided to replace it -as it to was black as well. (Kelly hope you enjoy wearing her!)

After my mammoth torching session on Wednesday my torch appears to be broken :( Luckily my lovely dh bought me another so guess what I'll be doing later ;0)

Summer Rain

Now I bet you can't guess why I named this one Summer rain?? Lol I'm trying to be subtle here!!! If you look closely you will see rose quartz, peridot and grey moonstone nestling amongst the crystal quartz - oh and silver nobbles tooo!!

SOLD

I adore this bracelet and am tempted to keep her so you will have to wait and see if she appears on the website - she won't be going on there until August unless either I or someone else decides to snap her up ;0) Here's another pic just to let you see some more :-

and finally I made some earrings ( Caroline if you are reading this I am waiting for earwires for yours!!) These are named Zebirget as Peridot has been found in Egyptian Jewellery from the early second millennium BC and was mined from the Volcanic island of Zebirget or St. Johns Island, in the Red Sea. So a great name I thought :D

Right I'm off to pretty myself up ready for the hairdressers - can't go to the big Smoke with yukky hair now can I ???
