Living here is like being at Sea World!
Orca's [better known as Killer Whales] are one of Washington's most favorite creature.
Everywhere you go in the state of Washington you will see Orcas statues or stuffed animals. lol
Orcas & Huskies are very popular here.
Huskies because they're the University of Washington's mascot.
[Minh's a former Huskie, and that's why he's planning on getting us one in 6 months]
The animal shelter is really full of huskies here, I heard they're very stubborn & hard to train. But I'm willing to take the time to work with them. I love dogs.
Also, Tulalip Casino's Mascot? The Orca.
lol The transportation system is also called Orca.
Minh takes the bus into downtown Seattle everyday and travels with his "Orca Card" aka bus pass. lol
Coming from Michigan, where everywhere you go you see deer, it's kind fun to see people love Killer Whales so much. I cannot wait to go whale watching this summer! I really look forward to seeing the beautiful side of this state.
I've always been really interested in marine animals, and I think I moved to the right state for animal sightings ^_~
Minh's family goes crabbing every summer, and Minh says it's a great experience because you just see sea lions chilling on the beach. I'm so excited. We're planning on taking my mom, dad, and sister when they visit this summer [to talk about Minh and my future engagement plans...] sighhh
They're so traditional!
Anyhow, will tell you more later. lol
